Companion Care Services

A housekeeper/companion primarily provides sociability and reassurance for someone who lives alone. A housekeeper/companion can assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, errands, and transportation assistance. A housekeeper/companion does not assist with personal care or assistance with medications.

Home Care Provider/Personal Care Assistant Services

A home care provider / personal care assistant is responsible for home management such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and assistance with transportation to shopping, errands, and medical appointments. A home care provider / personal care assistant can assist with some limited personal care such as dressing and bathing. A home care provider /personal care assistant does not assist with transfers or lifting. A home care provider / personal care assistant can assist with medications.

Caregiver/CNA Services

A caregiver / CNA is trained to assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, eating, transfers and rehabilitation exercise programs. A caregiver / CNA is responsible for home management such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation and assistance with transportation to shopping, errands, and medical appointments. A caregiver / CNA can assist with medications.
